  7. There is a huge need to replace Twitter (the app) with 'twitter' (the protocol). Like IMAP or SSH I should be able to run my own while interoperating seamlessly

  15. 160 characters feels much cooler than 140. i can't tell you how many times those extra 20 characters would have made the difference.
